Saxophone Lessons with
Edward Leaker MMus (London) BMus (Hons) LGSMD
Edward was appointed as Head of Woodwind at Wells Cathedral School, Somerset in 2015.
Wells Cathedral School is a world class specialist music school with an international reputation. Wells offers specialist training for gifted young musicians and is one of only five specialist music schools in the UK.
Edward has been a saxophone and clarinet tutor at Wells since 2005 and is excited to now be leading the woodwind department - a team of outstanding tutors and students.
Edward's role has grown at Wells and he is now also Head of Jazz and Commercial Music. He also directs the award winning Wells Cathedral School Jazz Orchestra.
As part of this work, Edward has led music tours to Hong Kong, The Hague, Berlin, New York City and various parts of the UK.

In addition to this, Edward also runs a thriving private teaching studio. Edward teaches all levels of player from beginner through to post grade 8 and diploma level, children and adults. Consultation lessons or extra lessons for exam/audition preparation are also available.
Edward is also a Mentor and Tutor for South West Music School.
