South West Youth Jazz Orchestra
A Big Band for young musicians in the South West of England
- South West Youth Jazz Orchestra is a new ensemble that will provide an opportunity for talented young musicians to play big band jazz and meet other like minded young musicians.
- If you are a talented young musician based in the South West of England and you would like to be a part of this exciting new band, please log your interest HERE. There will be positions for Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Piano, Double or Electric Bass, Drums, Guitar and Vocals.
- To join the band you must be under 21 years old, at least grade 6 standard and be based in or originated from the South West of England.
- Rehearsals will take place termly during school/college holidays or weekends.
- SWYJO will provide an opportunity for talented young musicians to play a variety of historical and modern big band repertoire and work with professional musicians and guest tutors.
