THE EDWARD LEAKER BAND back
For his jazz band, Edward draws on some of the finest young musicians both locally and nationally. The repertoire for the band consists of some timeless jazz standards as well as instrumental versions of classic popular songs, so you can expect to hear familiar tunes with a modern slant. The band usually consists of saxophone, piano or guitar, bass and drums, but it is often expanded to include a guest vocalist or other instrumentalist.
Edward and his ever expanding pool of professional musicians have played for a variety of private/corporate events and public festivals including: Dorich House, Kingston; The Royal Albert Hall; The Barbican, London; Two temple Place, London; The Park Lane Hilton; The Waldorf Hilton on The Strand; The Bank of England Sports Club and The Four Seasons, Hampshire.
